The choking game or American dream as we used to call it is highly addictive. i was addicted to it for years i used to walk around school doing it, one after another. i would always do it on my own though i never did it with friends and i never thought of it as a game cuz it wasnt fun cuz you couldnt stop doing it. i used to take a really deep breath and squeeze my neck with the palms of my hands and stop just before i start to black out to get a buzz. But often id wake up on the floor in class or in the middle of the street, very dangerous. I remembered so long ago that we did indeed play the fainting game in our Lutheran school bathroom in the early 70's. It existed that many years ago. A teacher even caught us and told us to stop and go back to our classroom, but thought it to be quite harmless. I can't believe this still continues and now I have a 10 year old son and it is very disturbing to think that this choking game is taking lives and at such an alarming rate. I actually am so grieved about this and there is no young life that will be in vain. I applaud you for exposing this and pray for your peace as you and your family take a stand in your quest to help others.
